Irimo Nation

Knowledge of its existence ended towards the 17th century. Its triangle-shaped borders are formed by the Madre de Dios river to the Northwest, in what today is Peru, the Beni river to the Southeast, in what today is Bolivia, and the first andean foothills to the south. A triangle of around 80,000 square kilometers that since then and until this day is one of the largest and most biodiverse biological corridors in the world.

This life heartland cut in half by what today is the Peru-Bolivia border, is part of the Antisuyu, one of the four Inca kingdoms. Its ancestral inhabitants have millenary cultural inheritance from the Mollo ancestral culture and today’s Kallawaya.

The arrival of the Jesuits in the 17th century brought about great changes in the region. Some tribes were subdued and relocated, evangelized and converted. Others were able to run into the forest and remain less perturbed by the radical cultural changes and aberrations brought about by the now colonizing order.

Among the tribes that inhabited the Irimo nation that are mentioned by the Jesuit texts are the Chiman, Mosetén, Leco, Tacana, Uchupiamona, Araona, Esse Ejja and Toromona. This last one are the ones that are still living in voluntary isolation, uncontacted, inside of the forest. Many of the mentioned tribes are recognized today by the new constitution of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, though this recognition is mostly only symbolical. As far as territories go, only a small fraction of what was Irimo has been titled to these tribes, the rest, is either a national park, or is being exploited and invaded.

The lands that have been designated as protected areas are part of what today is Madidi National Park in Bolivia and Bahuaja Sonene National park and Tambopata reserve in Peru. These areas remain untouched; the rest is being exploied for wood, sugar cane, mining and cattle.

There is no mention of Irimo in any constitution or official document. On top of that many of the instituted tribes are unaware of the fact that they once belonged to a larger, united nation, Irimo. They will all agree that the land titles granted to them do not reflect their ancestral usage of the land and are too small. Though it simulates to be doing so, the government of Bolivia is not really interested in the integrity and protection of the native nations and their territories. Like any modern colonized and colonizing nation, their only goal is cashflow to meet their debt, and that means exploiting.

A thorough reconstitution of human kind, its original inhabitants and of nature requires the reconstitution of the original territories where they have lived. As members of the Muxuq Nina tribe and as part of Owl Freedom Nation we set forward in this quest and claim: One whole and complete united nation, Irimo!

Muxuq Nina Tribe of the Paititi Ecovillage.

The prophecies of Tiwanaku and of the Union of the Eagle and the Condor state that the kundalini energy of mother earth has moved from Tibet and has settled in the heart of south America, where now the fire of a new humanity will be started.

To accomplish this, state the prophecies, two initiation centers must be built near this new and ancient earth chakra, one in the highlands near lake Titicaca, and the other in the amazon at the footsteps of the Andes, where the greatest amount of animals is found.

Following in spirit this prophecy, Muxuq Nina Tribe guide Julian Katari arrived to the place indicated to host the second initiation center, and begun the process of lighting the new fire of wisdom that will gather and guide the new tribal members to accomplish this mission.

In 2010 Ecoaldea Paititi project was born, a projected freedom ecovillage to be built in the 32,000 hectare reserve which is adjacent to some 8 million hectares of the most pristine and biodiverse reserves in the world, in the Vilcabamba-Amboro corridor and biodiversity hotspot, in the borders of Bolivia and Peru.

The unique nature of this place, as far from modern civilization as you can get, and the ways spoken by spirit for the Muxuq Nina tribe has shaped the requirements and spiritual path to follow for those who will attend this calling, Jaguar warriors of the most free nature.

Paititi Ecovillage offers extensive space and a life in freedom and deep in nature, completely free from modern pollutants and safeguarded from all present and future destructive eventualities in the heart of the most extensive rainforest in the world.

This offer is available for anyone willing to follow the ways of the Muxuq Nina tribe and capable of reaching the transformation, freed spirit and strength required to be part of it. To initiate this learning process of what our ways are, we have created the Circle of Medicine, an online set of courses and initiations that will then lead to presential initiations and then to the formal adhesion to the tribe and land legacy.

The courses are only available in Spanish. Being able (Spanish fluency) to take them is the first requisite. If you are interested, you may follow this link.

Cohabitation Dehesas

Dehesa- The word comes from the old growth multifunctional agrosylvopastoral systems of Spain. The dehesas of Spain (Montados in Portugal) are examples of ecosystems where humans play a constructive role, maintaining and improving the landscape to benefit wilderness, all its inhabitants and humans equally. The area of land belongs to the village/cohabitors in common.

Forests seem permanent and natural. Few are. For at least 6,000 years men and women have shaped the woods. The forests as we know them are products of craft/art-ing.

Up until our time a forest was not a wilderness. From it might be harvested timber, firewood, tanbark, charcoal, fence and hurdle poles, splints for wattle, grass to pasture sheep, goats, cattle, horses, bison and more, acorns to fatten hogs, honey from beehives, ink from oak galls. In return, the users left the dung of the grazing animals.

A good dehesa looks like a park. The principal trees are oak, and under the trees are grasses and many more forage plants.

No one gets individually rich on a Dehesa, yet all live well. It requires a complex code of use allied to half a dozen crafts (or more) in a system of care and protection for all who come after. This has been going on since the bronze age and before. Since the Neolithic age crops have been planted among the trees.

Arting/Crafting careers

Working for a living= merely surviving

Career-ing= inspiring for a short time

Art-ing/crafting vocation-ing= awakened radiantly happy living a full filling life.

Since humans began to build and settle down, there have been two versions of the world; the world made with wood, and the world made with coal and oil. One lasted 12 to 15 millenia, the other has lasted about 250 years so far, and is crumbling into non being.

Humans arose through the exercise of memory, reason and skill in a world that was warming and blooming. Memory gave to reason its material and skill proved a thought to be true (or not). Skill suggested a turn of the wrist, memory preserved it, reason compared it.

The human attributes-courage, faithfulness, patience, fortitude, prudence and honor were forged where the faculties met, in the making of home in the world.

Human beings learned from the woods around them. The more the people worked with the oak, the more the oak taught them what it could do.

When we talk about prehistoric Britain we tend to think of Stonehenge. What we seldom realize is that Stonehenge is by no means unique. Most of the henges that have been excavated were largely or entirely made of oak posts.

The shapes and patterns of all the henges are called entropic because it is thought that they were created within the eyes itself.

The human mind grew through the knowledge born of Art, of Craft, and in order to make, our ancestors had to imagine. In order to imagine, they had to make. Between thinking/imagining and making (art-ing/crafting) the world we know emerged.

To imagine and to make (art, craft) are reinforcing pairs that awaken your spirit to life a big talented full-filling life.
