We are re-membering what is already within us of the Matristic, egalitarian, child-affirmative, sex-affirmative cultures.
We could also say we are following the Bonobo way.
In the hot, wet swamps of Zaire, there is a tribe that live and share a powerful kind of pleasure, and make an extraordinary kind of love.
Bonobos are also called pygmy chimpanzees. They use pleasure to create peace. Their social organization is not male dominated, and as they’ve been studied in the wild and captivity, it’s been found that for them sex and mutual pleasure are vital keys for keeping the peace, reinforcing social relations based on the give and receive of sensual, erotic pleasure rather than on pain, force, fear, and imposed misery.
