The Aatleville farms/ranch/markas (land areas) belong to nobody in particular as they belong to humanity as a whole. They will not ever be sold, but passed on through the clan mothers.
-
To live in an Aatlville ranch/marka one must be willing to be an OWWL Council house OWL warrior intern in the training program.
-
Aatlville ranches/markas will be places of un-ending remembering of ourselves as love, of constant evolvement and a youth that never ages.
-
Aatlvilles is a matrix of building a new model. As a wise man said “you don’t fight the old, you build a new model that makes the old one obsolete”.
-
Aatlvilles will be sites of material and spiritual researches in responsibility to ensure collective survival and well-being. Giving and sharing our commons: mother earth and her gift sources, is embodied by the care-circulating individual whose logic of action and ethics is like that of the ideal mother, not a distant, absent and judgmental father.
A Dream: Envisioning eco-social sustainability/society
The gift imaginary.
In these societies economic life is built on balanced human and environmental relations, a recognition of our interconnections and interdependencies and a forward-looking use of mother earth’s gift sources to ensure future cycles of abundance, fertility and rebirth of all species. The logic is in the rationality of care and responsibility to ensure collective survival and well-being.
In gift giving one gives to satisfy the need of another and the creativity of the receiver in using the gifts is as important as the creativity of the giver. The gift interaction is transitive and the product passes from one person to the other, creating a relation of inclusion between the giver and the receiver with regard to what is given. Gift giving implies the value of the other, while the commodity exchange, which is made to satisfy one’s own need, is reflexive and implies the value only of oneself.
To be a Aatlvilian
-
The first is to join the OWL Council house program as an OWL Warrior intern. The journey is 18 months long, done in cycles of 13 weeks. It is 18 months because that is the amount of time an infant needs to attach to its caregiver-mother. In this journey you are walking away from the techno-patriarchal matrix as your caregiver, and returning to natural order, mother earth and each other as caregiver.
-
Become the master of your mind.
-
Become the jaguar warrior, master of the body and the land, that ensures the survival of your great, great grandkids.
